The Corporate Staff Communication's mission is to contribute to strengthening Region Skåne's brand and to the realization of operational goals, political decisions, and vision through professional communication efforts. The Unit for Close Care and Health is a new unit within Corporate Staff Communication, which will support the healthcare administration Close Care and Health. The unit consists of a communication manager and a communicator, but may be expanded with an additional position.

The Close Care and Health administration includes mobile primary care teams and specialized palliative care, some outpatient services, and emergency care as well as 1177 by phone. Additionally, the administration is responsible for the development and follow-up of the transition to close care in Region Skåne. The transition involves a shift in focus within health and care, which places high demands on communication both internally and externally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an experienced communicator for the Unit for Close Care and Health within Corporate Staff Communication in Malmö.

In this role, you will work closely with management teams and leaders within the Close Care and Health administration, providing support in communication matters. You assess communication needs based on often complex contexts and act according to established strategies and priorities. You primarily work operationally with the implementation of communication initiatives and produce content in the form of text and images for internal and external channels. You will also work with planning and follow-up of communication initiatives. You drive your assignments independently but also collaborate closely with the unit's communication manager and your colleagues within the entire communication function.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have a relevant university degree in communication or equivalent education. We also see that you have several years of experience in both operational and strategic work as a communicator. It is a prerequisite that you are an excellent writer with the ability to describe complex issues in accessible and correct English. To succeed in this role, we see that you have experience in content production in various media formats for both internal and external channels. You also have experience in management communication in a complex organization and are used to working with communication initiatives in connection with change processes. You drive your communication assignments independently. Furthermore, you are proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, and it is an advantage if you also have knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop.

You can keep the big picture in mind even when there is a lot to do, and you can prioritize based on overarching strategies. You have the ability to listen to needs and can explore different ideas to find possible solutions. You are a creative executor who ensures good results against set goals and within deadlines. You are comfortable explaining the communication perspective to your clients. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
